Some minerals, including gold or tantalum, tin, tungsten, and cobalt, mined in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and neighboring countries have been mined and sold by armed groups, destroying the environment and harassing human rights. The ALT prohibits the use of disputed minerals that directly or indirectly fund the armed groups in the affected areas.

    Conflict Minerals : Tantalum(Ta), Tin(Sn), Tungsten(W), Gold(Au) + Cobalt(Co)
    Conflict Area : 10 African countries that are defined as conflict areas in the US Dodd-Frank Act (Angola, Burundi, Central African Republic, Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia) Cobalt includes high risk areas.
  • 2. Regulatory Content
    The US Securities and Exchange Commission is required to report to the US listed and listed companies when they deliver the product.
  • 3. ALT Details of Conflict Minerals Enforcement
    1) Request periodic investigations of the use of conflict minerals with companies supplying major raw materials and subsidiary materials.
    2) If a company using conflict minerals is identified, immediately stop working with the supplier.
    3) Prohibit the use of conflict minerals by actively responding to the needs of customers and stakeholders and increasing transparency.
